Join us for the Hilton Head End of Summer 5K Run/Walk, an inclusive event for participants of all ages! The race kicks off and concludes at the stunning Sea Pines Beach Club. Set your alarms for 8:00 AM on August 30th, 2025, and immerse yourself in the joy of running along the picturesque beaches of Hilton Head Island's south end. As you traverse the course, relish the breathtaking scenery that surrounds you. Moreover, a portion of the event proceeds will contribute to the Heritage Academy College Scholarship. Join the Bluffton community on September 13th as we remember the life of DJ Fields with 5.5K noncompetitive walk/run from Eagles Field in Bluffton. The first 50 participants will receive a “TEAM 55” shirt.  All participants are welcome to join the Fields family for DJ’s Day of Giving Back to the Community for a cookout starting at 2:00pm at Eagles Field.  There will be food, games, a live DJ, friendship and fellowship.  All proceeds will go to the Live Like DJ Scholarship Fund. Sponsors for the race are The Town of Bluffton, Bluffton PD and Riverwalk Animal Hospital.

The 5k race starts and ends at LowCountry Community Church off of Buckwalter Parkway. It is a fast flat course and will be chip timed by Palmetto Running Company. There will be one water station on the course approximately at the halfway point. The race will start promptly at 8am with the Children’s DASH followed by the 5k run. Parents are welcome to run with their child(ren) if necessary. All participants will be welcomed back to the finish with a shower of bubbles (representative of special needs) and a finisher’s medal.  The award ceremony will take place after the last runner completes the 5k course. The overall top male and female runners and the top age group male and female runners of the 5k in each of the following age groups (<10, 11-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+) will receive awards. Join us for the Hilton Head Run/Walk For The Cure 5K Benefiting St. Jude, a meaningful event for participants of all ages. Soak in some sunshine as you run or walk along the sandy shore on beautiful Hilton Head Island. The event is one of the only races held in South Carolina planned solely to support St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in its mission to find cures for children battling cancer and other life-threatening diseases. The race was organized by Carly Anthony, a local high school student and dedicated member of the St. Jude Leadership Society. One hundred percent of the sponsorship dollars, donations and race profits will directly support St. Jude’s life-saving mission through Carly’s SJLS fundraising page. Lace up your shoes, enjoy a morning by the ocean, and help us make a difference in the fight against childhood cancer.

The race starts at 8:00AM from the Bluffton Oyster Factory and winds through Historic Old Town Bluffton along the May River. Run in a fast-paced Run or Walk the 5K with the entire family! Both events will be professionally timed by the Palmetto Running Company.  The Oyster Run is a part of the Historic Bluffton Arts and Seafood Festival. After you cross the finish line, celebrate with other participants and friends at the After-Party and awards presentation immediately following the race.  Registration Fees for the race are $35 for the 5K. Prices increases October 1st. T-shirts guaranteed if registered by October 8.  Unfortunately, due to the deadline for T-shirt orders, registrations after Wednesday, October 8, will not include a T-shirt. Born from the tragedy of 9/11, the Tunnel to Towers Foundation carries forward a legacy of courage and heroism. Built upon the mantra, “While we have time, LET US DO GOOD,” the Foundation supports our nation’s fallen and catastrophically injured first responders, military heroes, and their families  

Join Palmetto Bluff on Thanksgiving Day for an annual tradition - the Palmetto Bluff Turkey Trot 5K and a kid's “Turkey Chase” fun run around Village Square. All proceeds from the registration fees will be donated to Memory Matters, a non-profit organization supporting families and individuals living with Alzheimer's disease and related dementias. The race starts in front of the River House in Wilson Village and runs through beautiful Palmetto Bluff, a perfect one-loop course. Pre-race, kids can participate in the “Turkey Frisbee Toss” and win a chocolate turkey. On course electrolytes and post-race refreshments will be available for all participants. Race starts at 9:00AM. General Public Race packet pick up is on Tuesday November 25th, 2024, 3-6 PM at the New Palmetto Running Company, 25 Minetta Lane, Bluffton. Palmetto Bluff residents may pick up their packets on November 26th, 2024, at the Chapel next to the Wilson Village Green from 1pm to 5pm. Online registration with guaranteed t-shirt (sizes not guaranteed) closes at 11:59AM on Wednesday, November 12th. Adult registration fee is $35, and kids fun run is $25. Join us for the annual Buffalo Run benefiting the Palmetto Bluff Conservancy. Featuring an all-trail course, this 10K, 30K, and 50K race is a tree-shaded combination of single track, dirt and gravel road trail. The Buffalo Run 6.2-mile trail winds deep into the ancient maritime forests of Palmetto Bluff. Don’t be afraid to get a little muddy — it’s all a part of the experience. 30K and 50K Relay Teams. Gather your friends and compete in the 30K and 50K endurance races with either a 3-person team for the 30K or a 5-person team for the 50K. Packet pickup. Saturday 12/13. You can pick up your packets at Palmetto Running Company located at 25 Minetta Lane. Bluffton, SC 29910 from 1-5PM.   Race Day Sunday 12/14. Gates opens at 5:30AM.  50K and 50K Relay Race begins at 6:30AM. 30K and 30K Relay begins at 8:30AM.10K Race begins at 10:00AM. Hydration and Fuel Stations. These stations are located midway and at the finish. Staging Area. Relay teams and 50K Runners are allowed to set up pop-up canopy tents and tables for the support team in their designated areas. This is a cup free race - there will be water stations on the course but please bring your own hydration bottles.  Awards. Buffalo Run long sleeve shirts guaranteed to all participants registered before December 1st. Buffalo Run finishers medals for all 10K, 30K and 50K and Relay participants.  All 50K individual finishers receive a Buffalo Head Award.
