THE CAUSE: Proceeds from the events, along with merch sales and donations, will go directly towards supporting youth running and local high school track and XC teams. This event will be held at a local track, providing a professional and supportive environment for your run. Join us for the Hilton Head End of Summer 5K Run/Walk, an inclusive event for participants of all ages! The race kicks off and concludes at the stunning Coligny Beach. Set your alarms for 9:00 AM on September 5th, 2026, and immerse yourself in the joy of running along the picturesque beaches of Hilton Head Island's south end. As you traverse the course, relish the breathtaking scenery that surrounds you. Moreover, a portion of the event proceeds will contribute to the Heritage Academy College Scholarship. Lace up your running shoes and make a positive impact while enjoying a memorable day on Hilton Head Island! The initial 300 participants will be rewarded with an exclusive End of Summer 5K poly blend race shirt. Custom medals will be awarded to the overall top male and female finishers, as well as the top three in each age division: 12 and under, 13-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, and 80+. 

Run for those who run toward danger. On September 12, 2026, the Bluffton community will come together to honor the 25th anniversary of September 11 and support the firefighters who continue to answer the call every single day. This isn’t just a race. It’s a tribute. A remembrance. A commitment to the people who protect our community when life is at its worst. Hosted by the Bluffton Firefighter Foundation in partnership with Palmetto Running Company, this inaugural Memorial 5K will raise funds for the Firefighter Emergency Fund — providing direct support to local firefighters and their families during times of injury, illness, and unexpected hardship. Because emergencies don’t only happen on the clock. Last year, the Foundation helped support one of Bluffton’s own during a serious medical crisis, covering essential household expenses while he focused on recovery. Today, he’s back on the line serving our community. That’s the impact of this event. Whether you run, walk, sponsor, donate, or cheer from the sidelines, you are helping build a safety net for the people who never hesitate to protect us. Join us as we remember the fallen, honor the brave, and show up for our own.

The race starts at 8:00AM from the Bluffton Oyster Factory and winds through Historic Old Town Bluffton along the May River. Run in a fast-paced Run or Walk the 5K with the entire family! Both events will be professionally timed by the Palmetto Running Company.  The Oyster Run is a part of the Historic Bluffton Arts and Seafood Festival. After you cross the finish line, celebrate with other participants and friends at the After-Party and awards presentation immediately following the race.  Registration Fees for the race are $35 for the 5K. Prices increased October 1st. T-shirts guaranteed if registered by October 8.  Unfortunately, due to the deadline for T-shirt orders, registrations after Wednesday, October 8, will not include a T-shirt. Divisions: <12, 13-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, 80+ and Top 3 Dogs.

Born from the tragedy of 9/11, the Tunnel to Towers Foundation carries forward a legacy of courage and heroism. Built upon the mantra, “While we have time, LET US DO GOOD,” the Foundation supports our nation’s fallen and catastrophically injured first responders, military heroes, and their families.

Just a 30-minute ferry ride off Hilton Head Island, SC lies Daufuskie Island. Haig Point, a private residential community on Daufuskie, hosts this ultimate event consisting of a half marathon or full marathon.  This event is produced by Run 4 a Reason LLC/ Rough Runners R4R INC.  Runners will experience the all-inclusive running event, as soon as they step onto the island.  The runners will be greeted with a morning cup of coffee, cinnamon rolls, and hyped entertainment to get you ready to run. Race through Haig Point, to Freeport, onto Church Rd, and then back into Haig Point along the beach.  After your race, a catered picnic lunch and an assortment of beverages await you…including a cool beer provided you’re of legal drinking age. Additionally, each runner will receive high end swag and a finishing medal to commemorate your accomplishment. Take your medal to Jacy, a local artist, and she will engrave your finishing time while enjoying the after party. Chow down and listen to live entertainment with family and friends while you recover and enjoy your accomplishment.
