    Palmetto Bluff Buffalo Run 10K, 30K, 50K Trail Run
    Palmetto Bluff is the best of the South Carolina Lowcountry. 20,000 acres that remain virtually undisturbed and home to some of the most beautiful trails in the Lowcountry. Join us for the annual Buffalo Run benefiting the Palmetto Bluff Conservancy. Featuring an all trail course, this 10K, 30K, and 50K race is a tree-shaded combination of single track, dirt and gravel road trail. The Buffalo Run 6.2-mile trail winds deep into the ancient maritime forests of Palmetto Bluff. Don’t be afraid to get a little muddy — it’s all a part of the experience. 30K and 50K Relay Teams. Gather your friends and compete in the 30K and 50K endurance races with either a 3-person team for the 30K or a 5-person team for the 50K. Packet pickup. Saturday 12/14. You can pick up your packets at Palmetto Running Company located at 25 Minetta Lane. Bluffton, SC 29910 from 12-5 PM.   Race Day Sunday 12/15. Gates opens at 5:30AM.  50K and 50K Relay Race begins at 6:30AM. 30K and 30K Relay begins at 8:30AM.10K Race begins at 10:00AM. Hydration and Fuel Stations. These stations are located midway and at the finish. Staging Area. Relay teams and 50K Runners are allowed to set up pop-up canopy tents and tables for the support team in their designated areas. This is a cup free race - there will be water stations on the course but please bring your own hydration bottles.  Awards. Buffalo Run long sleeve shirts to all participants registered before December 1st. Buffalo Run finishers medals for all 10K, 30K and 50K and Relay participants.  All 50K individual finishers receive a Buffalo Head Award. Bronze Buffalo Awards to the overall 1st place male, female in each race and 1st place relay teams. After Party and Awards Presentation. The Buffalo Run After Party begins at 11:30AM. Live Music from Low Country Boil. Each runner receives a free beer from River Dog Brewery and basket of buffalo wings.

    Bluffton Santa Run 5K
    The heart of Santa is alive and well (and fit to run) in the Lowcountry. We invite you to join us at the Community Santa Run (or walk) 5K, sponsored by Montage Palmetto Bluff. Proceeds from the race will benefit Bluffton Self Help.  Dress in your best holiday costume and you may win the best dressed award! The weather forecast is SNOW at the finish!  Participants are encouraged to bring toy donations for the Bluffton Boys & Girls Club and/or non-perishable food items for Bluffton Self Help to assist in providing resources to our community through the holidays. Following the race there will be food and beverage trucks, bounce houses and nearby shrimp boat park to encourage you to stay and enjoy the sense of community. All participants who register before December 7th will receive a Community Santa Run 5k commemorative t-shirt. We will present male, female age group awards, 12 and under, 13-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, 80+ along with top dog awards and a special award honoring the most festively dressed.

    Daufuskie Marathon
    Daufuskie Island Marathon presented by Haig Point & Palmetto Running Company This race experience is a USATF certified course for 13.1 and 26.2 making it a qualifier for other marathons nation-wide. The course follows many of the highlights of Daufuskie Island such as Haig Point Lighthouse, Freeport, Historical Society, Tabby Circle overlooking the Atlantic and, the famous "Painted Houses" off Driftwood Cottage lane. Consider making this a weekend getaway runcation so that you may have time to explore this lovely, rustic island. Food, refreshments, medal engraving, and race photos are included in your registration. Food and beverage is also available to spectators for a small fee. Finisher medals to each finisher. Race swag will be announced The beneficiary of 2024 race will be the Daufuskie Island Conservancy.
