The Lowcountry Tulip Trot 5K & Walk for Parkinson’s Disease is a heartfelt event inspired by the
life and legacy of Leslie W. Matthews, whose enduring spirit, generosity, and commitment
to service left a lasting impact on all who knew him. After Les passed away on March 9, 2024, at
the age of 77, his family—wife Lynn, sons Joshua and Adam, and their families—set out to
honor his memory by raising awareness and funds for Parkinsons Disease, a cause close to
    their hearts.
